In general, the Portland cement is the main product of the cement industry. This cement is a type of ultrafine powder, is generally gray, which consists of calcium (limestone), silicate, aluminate (clay) and ferrite. Limestone is the main raw material of cement production, most plants are placed in the vicinity of the limestone quarry in order to minimize transport costs.

　　Usually, the raw materials are extracted (limestone, slate, silica and pyrite) by blasting or by using switching equipment. The raw materials are sent to the crusher to be crushed or beaten into fragments. Usually, the primary crusher jaw crusher is the cone crusher while the crusher and impact crusher as secondary work.
